Ugh, all these topRuler drawing functions are a mess. The leftRuler function is more more elegant and only uses a single func. Rewrite time!

Just wiped partitions on old laptop, used Toshiba recovery disk, rebooted… and nothing happened. Uh oh. Hmm. Stupid bootloader.

Oh, wow. I just plugged old laptop into the router for transfer instead of doing it by wifi. MUCH faster, even than rsync w/ direct connect.
